Music industry at it again

Linkage #1 Linkage #2

Okay, so who else here can’t help but laugh? Apple CEO Steve Jobs called the RIAA greedy ’cause they wanted Apple to raise the 99 cent price tag at iTunes. Jobs’ basically told ‘em no and that they were being greedy bastards. Warner Music head went on about how some songs should cost more because, well just because they were popular songs probably.

Now on to the good parts.

Warner Music head is back at it again, saying they’re (the RIAA) is going to completely pull the plug on iTunes. That’s right, no more 99 cent downloads for j00! Back to having to buy that craptacular Britney Spear’s CD where the only good part about the ONE good song on is the chorus. We’re even going to have to go back to recording our favorite songs off the radio! OMGNOES!

Whatever though, not like it’ll effect me anyways, who pays for crap these days anyways right?
