Curious About Astronomy: What would happen if we did not have a Moon?

I dunno, saw a thread about this somewhere else, thought it was interesting. Here it is.

Guess this kind of sums up the whole Katrina aid thing doesn’t it…

So of course people from all over the country have been waiting for this day. New Simpsons, Family Guy, and American Dad (honorable mention goes to The War at Home). It was a night with high’s and unfortunate lows, hopefully FG and TS will get better as the season goes on. But anyways on the reviews.

So after like 3 days of trying to upgrade iTunes, I FINALLY got it to install. The only reason it wouldn’t install the first 10 times was because it kept complaining about the downloaded installer have corrupt install files. But I finally got it all up and running so I can start putting new CD’s and songs on my iPod. Hurray.

Speaking of iTunes on Windows, I found this nice little tool for those people who don’t just buy their music from iTunes Music Store. Check it out here.

Was just looking around nearlygood and came up on these:

• The lovely and curvaceous Melyssa Ford at a photo shoot.
• Funny skit from Mind of Mencia.
• A compilation of hot broads mixed with Ludacris’ song “Pimpin’ All Over The World”.
• This one I just thought was funny for the obvious reason, thought I’d share.
• That Keyra chick from Argentina doin’ her ‘thing’. Can’t figure out which ass-et I like more, hers of Vida Guera’s.
• In the words of Stewie: “Bouncy bouncy“
• Seriously… what is wrong with some people. this just proves you can make girls these days do almost anything.

So Apple’s Steve Jobs apparently “hopped” on stage and announced a slew of new Apple branded products. Here’s the list (that I know of):

• iPod Nano (cute isn’t it?)
• a phone that integrates with iTunes (made by Motorola)
• iTunes 5
• (my favorite for the sheer hilarity) a Harry Potter branded iPod!

I really love that last one, I can see the ad’s now….

“Get your PotterPod today! Show your friends what house you’re in while listening to the hottest tunes listened to by today’s modern wizard/witch.”

Or those lovely Harry Potter movie people dancin’ around like idiots to some song that has something to do with witches, a dungeons and dragons theme or something.

Maybe Apple will come out with a Family Guy or Aqua Teen iPod too.

So I guess Stan Lee wants more of our money…

Seems like Marvel is looking to make movies out of other comic book characters like:

• Black Panther
• The Avengers
• last but not least - Captain America!

Anybody remember that craptacular 70’s version of Captain America? Was
there one, or am I like imagining things again — coulda sworn I saw
something craptacular on TV years ago. Anyways read here for the full story.

I still don’t really know what to say about this lil’ vid. It’s very…
interesting to say the least I guess. I do however love the end
reactions from Mike Meyers and Chris Tucker.

Here’s what they were thinking probably:

Mike: Uh… wow, did this crazy n***a just say that sh*t!?

Chris Tucker: Did that crazy n***a just say what I think he said?

That’s all I
really have to say to set this one up. I mean everybody has those
moments where their parents want to scare the piss outta them. But
honestly, if ANYONE did this to me as a kid, I’d be a shaking,
vomiting, crappin’ mess of a person.
