PS3 Price Cut
Looks like all the bellyaching over the price of Sony’s PlayStation 3 has done some good. Sony exec Ken Kutaragi just sent jaws to the floor over at Tokyo Game Show with an announced price cut of the 20GB PS3 base unit from ¥62,790 to ¥49,980 in Japan. Closer to home, we’d be looking at a move from about $538 to $428 … representing a drop of some 20% when the PS3 hits
That’s some good news for… someone I guess. Not me in particular seeing as how my XBox doesn’t even work these days. But for you rich bastards out there planning to either import, buy, or catch one off that infamous truck (might be next to me :P) this is some good news. Far from that asinine price of $600+ so it’ll basically be the cheapest HDVD/Blu-Ray ready device or something. Whatever.
Yeah I’m bitter, so what. ![]()

P.S. Sorry for the lack of posting, Madden 07 has basically sheltered me from the outside world, like always. Hopefully I’ll get back to posting more. ’cause I’m sure someone reads this every now and then…
