Have you ever wondered why EA would need you to play on their servers and not Microsoft’s on XBox Live?
Seems like the greedy EA gaming behemoth has decided to ruin a few folks days. If you didn’t like Madden 06 and didn’t think it was worth getting, guess what, now you either have to get 06 or 07! Freggin’ lovely right?
Though I have to admit, looking at the preview during tonight’s HOF pre-season game, 07 on the 360 looks BA (Dane Cook fans know the abbreviation). Checkout Arstechnica for more info.
WoW 1.1 released Even though I don’t play WoW anymore (at least not at this point in time), a whole lot of people are. And if I remember correctly ambient weather came with this patch. Bet it’s purdy…

That’s great and all, but I haven’t played a Mortal Kombat game since Turok was out on the N64. MK just got boring as hell and still can’t hold a candle to the glory that was Killer Instinct.
So I say to you now, petition Nintendo to start making new KI’s!

This really only relates to Illinois as far as I know, but at least a judge (someone who actually has a brain) knows that the governor is just a douche trying to place the blame on video games. Or at least that’s how I’m going to interpret it.

That would suck, ’cause pretty much everyone I know wants to at least try a game out before buying it. And not alot of people can afford that 50 dollar price tag when games first come out, so they head straight to Gamestop (or is it just eB games now? Who got bought?).
If this really is the case, then seems to me like Sony is losing their rabbit ass minds. Sony has been for a long time been doing some really crazy things, and this is up there with a lot of them.
Hope it’s not true, ’cause I planned on getting a PS3. And I have a rare tendency to rent before I buy.
